With great joy, yesterday we welcomed a delegation from the Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (SPAVO), to whom the amount of €2,700 was handed over — an amount raised from our Organization's carnival dance (€2,000) and from the personal exhibition of painter Polymnia Charalambous "WOMAN" on the occasion of International Women's Day — €700.

 

During the meeting, we were informed about the activities and needs of SPAVO by the President, Mrs. Maria Kousiou, and the Vice President, Mrs. Rita Kotsapa, and we exchanged ideas. The meeting was attended by both painter Polymnia Charalambous as well as Mrs. Andri Platriti.

 

With Mrs. Andri Platriti, an award-winning screenwriter who transforms the truth of the soul into a cinematic experience, we will collaborate in the near future on the production of a theatrical play aimed at raising public awareness about domestic violence and gathering further financial support for the Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (SPAVO).
