Today, we were delighted to welcome delegations from 3 schools (Agios Neofytos Lyceum of Paphos, Agios Antonios Lyceum of Limassol, Neapoli Gymnasium of Limassol) where presentations of the poetry book by Mrs. Maria Martidou Theophanous, "The Synaxarion of Smyrna" (Tis Smyrnis Synaxari), had taken place. The delegations were accompanied by Mrs. Maria Martidou Theophanous herself and our Organisation's Friend-collaborator, Mr. Yiannos Panagiotou – Pyrinas Private Institute.

 

During the meeting, the amount of €1,130 was handed over to the President of our Organisation, which was collected from the sale of the book at these schools. Warm thanks to all the principals, teachers, and students of the schools who have embraced and continue to embrace this effort, and for their participation in the poetry workshop presented at the schools by Mrs. Maria Martidou Theophanous and Mr. Yiannos Panagiotou.

 

The proceeds from the book sales will be allocated in their entirety to support the Cyprus Autism Association, contributing in a meaningful way to its activities.
