On Thursday, 19 March 2026, the award ceremony for the 18 student grants offered by our Organisation to students of the University of Cyprus took place successfully. The selection of grant recipients was based on their academic performance and socio-economic criteria and was carried out in collaboration with the University of Cyprus Student Welfare Association, ensuring a fair and objective award of scholarships..

 

The award ceremony was attended, on behalf of our Organisation, by the President of the Board of Directors, Ms Constantia Pitta, the Founder Mr Soteris Pittas, as well as our Organisation's supporters Mr Michalis Vorkas and Mr Christakis Kassianos. On behalf of the University of Cyprus, the event was honoured by the presence of the Rector, Mr Tasos Christofides, the Head of the Student Welfare Association, Mr Kleanthis Pissarides, the Director of Administration and Finance Mr Menelaos Menelaou, members of the Association, other sponsors, as well as the scholarship recipients.

The 18 scholarships, valued at 1,000 euros each, were awarded as follows:

• Law: 4 scholarships

• Electrical and Computer Engineering: 2 scholarships

• Social and Political Sciences: 2 scholarships

• Accounting and Finance: 2 scholarships

• Medicine: 3 scholarships

• Architecture: 2 scholarships

• Psychology: 3 scholarships
