Today, November 3rd, 2025, we had the pleasure of meeting with our friend, Mr. Yiannis Charalambides, creator of the “Memory of a Jersey” initiative, who presented us with a signed Aris Limassol goalkeepers’ jersey, featuring the signatured of Vana Alves, Wes Foderingham, Anastasios Pisias and Lenos Sofroniou.

 

The jersey will be made available through a charity auction organised by our Organization, as part of our participation in Movember Cyprus 2025, supporting men’s health initiatives.

 

“Memory of a Jersey” is a heartfelt project by Mr. Charalambides that hosts tributes to former and current athletes, mainly from the world of football and beyond, with the aim of preserving memories and collecting memorabilia offered for charitable purposes.

 

This meaningful initiative is dedicated to the children who “left” too soon, who are lovingly remembered through tributes on the page.
